This is a wonderful english made officer's sword mameluk type saber which dates from the mid 19th century. It is mounted with a beautifully etched curved blade that measures 29 inches in length which although shows to have been worked on at the bottom portion of the blade, does remain in good condition with most of the lovely etchnig still present. The etching on the blade includes the maker's name tho gill no.
