This is a german prussian seitengewehre short sword. It is monuted with a straight spearpoint blade that measures 19 inches in length. Teh blade remains in nice condition with minor staining and surface scratches. The maker's logo pdl is still well marked on the ricasso. The solid brass guard is simple in design and remains nice as well. The leather scabbard is brass fitted and although is a little scuffed, does remain very healthy in condition with all of the stitching tightly intact. Overall measuring 24 3/8 inchse in length.
