For sale an original scottish basket hilt broad sword. Sword has veyr detailed design on both sides. It is also has the makers mark near the handle, h. Morrison, ajmica st. Glasgow. The fine detail is different on each side. Sword measures 38 in overall length. Blade is 32.25. Item is in very good condition for its age. oN pitting on the blade and the tip is very strong and pointy.

The detailing on the blade is very clear and pronounced and the pictures do not do it justice. I od not know what the red material is that is in the basket but it is in very good condition with no rips or tears. Basket is in veyr good shape, no brakes or cracks.

The wire around the handle is a little loose. I am not a specialist on swords. Please ask all questions.
